Public Information Meeting

The City of Oskaloosa and Mahaska County, in partnership with the Mahaska Chamber & Development Group and the support of Iowa Department of Transportation held a public information meeting on Monday, May 11, to discuss the proposed US BUILD Grant application in support of the Mahaska Oskaloosa Driving Economic Success (MODES) study and the proposed US 63 to IA 23 connector study.

The meeting was conducted utilizing an open forum format. Staff from the City, County and the Mahaska Chamber & Development Group were present to informally discuss the proposed improvements.

The meeting was held online due to the social distancing restrictions in place as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The restriction to physical access is in accordance with Section Nine of the March 19, 2020, Iowa Public Health Emergency Proclamation signed by Governor Kim Reynolds.
